I have Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165. Windows 10 pro. I've tried every solution so far; resetting, updating, downgrading driver, delete, changing parameters etc. but nothing helps. The thing is when my HP notebook wakes after sleep it takes time to find my wireless network. It takes everything from 10 seconds to a couple of minutes and sometimes not at all. Or it finds it but stays in connection mode. The problem comes and goes and has been a problem for the last 6-8 months. I can reset the network and I got no problem for 2-10 days and then it starts over again with not connecting with no reason so far I can see. I get the warning: 6105 - deauth after EAPOL key exchange sequence.

question for Intel MU-MIMO setting for AC-8265
Hello all,
it seems my laptop with Intel AC-8265 doesn't support MU-MIMO.
I'm using ASUS-RT88U as gateway, and it proves it works with Samsung S7 for MU-MIMO. but when connecting AC-8265 ( install on my DELL laptop) with Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software version = 20.10.2
- Driver version = 19.10.10.2 for Windows 7 for 18265, 8265, 3168, 18260, 8260, 17265 and 3165.
During the capture packets, it shows Sounding and MU request send to AC-8265, but still get SU feedback.
please help to check how to enable the MU-MIMO for AC-8265
Thanks
What Intel mini PCI-E card is the most recommended to replace the Wireless 7260-N?
Since the Intel Wireless-N 7260 is faulty since a long time ago, the driver updates did not fix the issues. I want to replace it but I don't know which is compatible.
I have an Acer Aspire v7-582p-54204g52tkk, May I have a list of mini PCI-e wireless cards that is compatible and works well? Considering range and speed. Thanks.
AC-8265 fails to associate for unknown reason
I recently purchased an Intel NUC7i5BNH kit Mini-PC. I added 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SATA disk drive. I installed Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit.
The AC-8265 WiFi interface works fine in Hotspot mode. However, I can't get it to associate with my home's Access Point in infrastructure mode. The error message as seen in Windows Event Viewer is that the association failed for an unknown reason. The access point is a Linksys WRV200, offering 802.11g only, on 2.4GHz Channel 6. Security is WPA2-Personal. I have a number of other devices that connect to the AP just fine, so it is working correctly.
I've tried various versions of the device driver, and all of them exhibit the same behavior. I tried uninstalling the device and drivers and starting over. Right now, it's using driver version 20.10.0.6, which Windows "found" for me. I had also tried with a more recent driver version from the Intel drivers download page.
One odd thing is that Windows Device Manager reports a different driver version than do either Windows Network Troubleshooting or Windows Event Viewer system logs.
I'm really out of ideas. I received no useful advice in the Microsoft Windows 10 support community. They (somewhat arrogantly) told me to ask in the Intel support community.
performance issue with Dual Band AC-7260

Blue screen with AC 7260
Hi all,
AC 7260 WIFI module is used in our machine and blue screen appears from time to time.
The BSoD code is 0x0000009F and the message include "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" as show in the attached images.
We used debug tool to analyse the dump file, it seemed the BSoD has something to do with VWIFIBUS.SYS which is relevant with the WIFI module. A screenshot of the result of the analysis is shown below:
System information:
Chip set of mother-board: QM77 express
OS: Windows 7 embedded 32-bit
WIFI module: AC 7260
Version of driver of WIFI module: 18.33.3.2 (2016/5/3)
Please give me suggestion how to deal with this issue.
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks.
Intel AC-7260
Hi,
Just an FYI for anyone interested. I have a Intel AC 7260 dual band wifi card in my laptop. Upon updating to the latest drivers I noticed that gamestream became basically unusable. Horrendous stuttering that was solely attributable to the network and not graphics or cpu.
Uninstalling the "Wifi Proset" drivers as Intel call them and allowing Windows 10 to install a much older version resulted in smooth gameplay again.
New Driver Version - 18.33.11.2
Currently installed and functioning well - 17.15.0.5
There are no other variable except for the driver version and this is reproducible. I thought it may help someone tearing their follicles out.
WiFi connectivity issue with Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN
Hello. My Dell Studio 1555 laptop will not wirelessly connect with my FioS router though available WiFi networks are shown. This is a sudden development, having previously worked. Other wireless devices are working well off the same router. (Using router now via Ethernet cable). Laptop network diagnostics state there is a Network Adapter issue. I am running Windows 10, and the Network Diagnostic utility has tested and reset the network connection to no avail. The Intel download assistant/diagnostic agent tested the device and stated it is working properly. The Intel site states support is no longer provided for my wireless network adapter - the Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN (hence this outreach to this esteemed community). I have scanned the computer for errors, and rebooted. I have rebooted the router. All my drivers are said to be updated. I have removed the router from list of available connectivity options and re-entered the key/password. This is confounding! Would love to get a solution. Thanks in advance for your time and inputs.

Problem with WiGig undocking
Each time I shut down computer connected to WiGig the computer freezes and won't shut down. When I tried to disconnect WiGig in Action center with disabling it in Airplane mode, the computer freezed, too and I lost any control. Only solution is each time hard reset (long press of hardware shut down button). Any help, please? I'm using ThinkPad WiGig with ThinkPad T460.
The network interface "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265" has begun resetting
i've been using a 8265 PCIe add in card from Gigabyte to share my computer's LAN connection for my phone. and there're issues:
1) every 15-30 minutes, the wi-fi connection is lost due to 8265 resetting. it will be back to work after a while, but it's very annoying.
2) several minutes after my phone disconnected from wi-fi, the hotspot will be automatically turned off.
i've tried following and the issues persist:
1. unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." for 8265 and its virtual adapters.
2. in advanced power plan, set wireless adapter settings to "Maximum Performance".
3. updated the driver to most recent 20.10.2.2.
to be specific, before i updated the driver to 20.10.2.2 (i don't know which version the previous driver is), the adapter didn't reset itself. i had to disable and enable it to make it work. Windows Event Viewer was spammed by "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 : Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning properly." error (dozens of entries every second).
with the 20.10.2.2 driver, in Event View i get following errors every 15-30 minutes:
5007 - TX/CMD timeout (TfdQueue hanged)

Upgrade my drivers or not?
I have a Lenovo 2-in-1 device with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165. On one hand I've heard about this issue: Intel® SA-00101. I have drivers 19.50.1.6 installed currently. Are these drivers vulnerable to this? Because this page says that 19.51.x.x are vulnerable and this is 19.50.1.6. I know that newer drivers (19.51.7.2) are available through Device Manager (I've tried for a while some time ago). On the second hand I've heard that I should not install generic drivers on laptop system. Only drivers from my OEM. Should I update to the newer version to be safe?
Netwtw06 error on Intel 8260
I've been getting a lot of errors lately after updating my driver to the latest version. I've tried reinstalling it but the errors still persist
I'm getting warnings on Event Viewer like:

Reason: The network driver requested that it be reset.
This network interface has reset 1 time(s) since it was last initialized.
WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped.

And errors like:

which went on and on until I reinstalled the driver

Can't get out of airplane mode in Windows 10 despite reloading network drivers multiple times
I've reloaded windows 10 on my Inspiron laptop three times and deleted my drivers and reloaded them directly from Intel four differant times but I still can't get my wireless card out of airplane mode. I've visited numerous sites and performed all the tests and procedures even resetting my network but something takes over and kicks it back into airplane mode each time. Any suggestions?

Dual Band Wireless 7260 AC WIFI Problems in Windows 10
I upgraded the WiFi card in my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro almost a year ago to an Intel Wireless-AC 7260 7260NGW 802.11ac Dual Band NGFF Wifi Card, and it's been performing flawlessly until the last week or so.
I'm now experiencing drop-outs in wi-fi every few minutes / hours. The severity is strangely erratic: sometimes these can be be resolved by right-clicking the system tray icon and letting the troubleshooter restart the adapter, but occasionally it's as if the card's not there at all, it's not even listed in the device manager, defying refreshes and sometimes even restarts. Eventually it will come back, only to be as unstable as before.
I have physically removed the card, cleaned the contacts and checked that it's seated correctly and removed and re-installed the drivers with no success
After searching online I found reports on this forum of other issues associated with 7260 cards and Windows 10 updates and wondered if my experiences could be linked, there have certainly been a lot of Windows updates recently.
I'll be very grateful for any suggestions / advice.
