So I have HP Notebook model 15-bs034nm (Windows 7 64 bit) and everything works correctly except Network. I installed driver for wireless card but it keeps saying  "Wireless capability is turned off" ,there is no  available connections and there is no switch on laptop or anywhere.I tried everything suggested on HP support site  and I just dont know what to do anymore so I hope someone will come up with a solution

Thanks.

intel(r) dual band wireless-n 7620 having a meltdown and frequently disconnecting.

So I've had this problem for about a month and to be honest I made the mistake of tolerating it, but now I'm playing more internet intensive games and I can't allow myself to disconnect anymore.

On my computer I have two network adapters like you can see https://i.imgur.com/4mLhHey.png. The one that I have been having an issue with is the network adapter "intel(r) dual band wireless-n 7620". Whenever I seem to do anything even remotely internet intensive it "nopes" out so quickly that my head spins. I've opened event viewer and https://i.imgur.com/VLTH9nZ.png is the first event I'll get, followed by https://i.imgur.com/koXvpoL.png and then a bunch of spam of network resets.

Now, for diagnostics I have attempted:

Disabling other network adapters does not fix the problem.

I have tried turning off the check box for "Allow the computer to save power by turning off this device."

I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the network adapter, and that worked for a solid day. When I try to uninstall the network adapter now, however, it shows it being deleted; however, when I scan for hardware changes it appears to have reinstalled itself. I have no idea how I managed to uninstall it in the first place, but I cannot replicate it.

I have tried using an ethernet cord and even that does not work, as I will still get disconnected from the internet seemingly at random.

I have tried turning off the "green ethernet" in the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller and that does nothing.

Attempting a network reset fixes it for 4-5 hours and then it goes back to being stupid.

I downloaded the WiFi_20 . 80 . 0_Driver64_Win10 . zip (remove spaces, I couldn't put it in because of the auto-hyperlink thing). I then ran both dpinst64 and iprodifix. The problem persists.

I have had the problem for nearly a month now and I can pin it to one certain event: https://i.imgur.com/NVgt3ds.png . Now, I have absolutely no idea what the is/was, but ever since this happened my internet has been playing Russian Roulette with itself. It will not let me roll back the network adapter. Uninstalling the network adapter apparently does not keep it from automatically updating to the flawed latest version.

Please help soon, thank you.

Are 3165 and 9260 adapters interchangeble?

$

Can anyone tell me if Intel 3165 and 9260 wireless adapters are interchangeble?

I tried to replace an Intel 3165 adapter with a 9260 one in my Windows 10 computer and even though they look the same and it fit in the mini slot fine it was not recognized when Windows started.

I noticed two differences in the cards:

1) the 9260 has one extra gold contact (under the letter E)

2) the little black and white triangles by the two antenna attachments were reversed (although they are numbered the same)

I am unclear if the 9260 adapter is not compatible with my system (since it was not recognized) or whether it requires the antenna wires to be reversed to be recognized.

Has anyone replaced a 3165 adapter with a 8260?

All drivers of those laptops are up to date (bios, wireless card, chipset ...), and the Os also

the problem is : when the laptop is connected to wifi after a random time the connectivity being limited, and after that we reset the proset wifi utility to resolve the problem but after a several time the problem persist

Can you please help me to resolve this issue ?

P.S : i tried to reinstall the network adapter driver and the problem still persist

Code 10 on Intel Wireless Ac 9560

Got an Acer Nitro 5 a few days ago. Worked perfectly fine that night. Next day wifi would occasionally cut out. Today the wireless adapter will only give me a code 10 error, indicating a driver/hardware failure. Tried all solutions I could find as far as the drivers go with no luck. I think the adapter may have come loose inside the laptop. I want to make sure I'm not missing some "duh" solution before I open this up, or if I'm better of taking it to a shop to have a guy do it for me.

Intel (R) Wireless-AC 9560 #2: Has encountered a conflict in resources and could not load

I have recently purchased a Dell G5 5587 and I am currently experiencing issues with the wifi card. When I go into device manager it says that there is an error 10 code. When I look into the event viewer the message in the title pops up.

I have already tried resetting the laptop to the factory state which fixes the problem temporarily and then the same problem reappears. I have also tried doing a network reset but that didn't fix the problem either.

I don't know what is causing the problem since the wifi card works after I factory reset my laptop but the device breaks again a few days after. Please help.

Intel AC-8260 Adapter temporary not found or not working

Since 4 Weeks i have the problem, that temporary my Intel AC-8260 adapter is not found with code 45 (Adapter is not connected to the system)

or with Code 31, Windows could not load the drivers.

I have a Lenovo X1 20FC Laptop.

The amazing thing is, that sometimes everything works fine and one day later, the problems comes again.

So i made few things, like:

- Installing all the newest drivers for AC-8260 from Intel (act. Version: 20.70.1.1).

AC-8260.JPG

The device Manager says:

At starting the adapter ROOT\NET\0000 there is a problem.

Driver Name: oem61.inf

Klassen-GUID: {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Dienst: Netwtw06

Lower Filter:

Upper Filter: vwifibus

Problem: 0x1F

Problemstatus: 0xC00000BB

So the sing is, i dont kow, if it is a  hardware problem or a driver problem.

May somebody has the answer :-)

Wireless AC-9560 Slow speed and disconnects on 5Ghz

Hi,

I'm having probelms with this device. When I'm connected to a 5Ghz network I'm getting frequent disconnects. I'm also experiencing very slow connection speeds when using this device. (17mb/s down and 2mb/s up)

I've tried updating the drivers to the latest ones on Intels support website, and I've tried using the drivers on the computer manufacturers website. Both result in no change.

As a further test I ran a speed test on the same hardware using a fresh Linux installation and this gave me full speed. I also created a fresh user account within windows but found this resulted in slow speeds, so this has led me to believe there may be a problem with the drivers.

When I have been getting the disconnects I've been seeing these errors and warnings in event viewer:

2018-10-11 20_34_31-Event Viewer.png

2018-10-11 20_35_36-Event Viewer.png

Driver from Intel I tried was: 20.80.0.5

Driver from Asus I tried was: 20.60.2.2

I've also run the system support utility and have included the results.

Replaced the killer wifi card on laptop ... please help

Got an intel 8265 and 9260 and both do the exact same thing ....

I have to be right beside the router to have any connection at all ... and even then its literally right beside the router.

The 2.4ghz band I can't connect to... used to be able to with the killer card

Also I dont see any wifi networks ... my phone and the older killer card picked up over 8 of them

Any ideas? Drivers are updates .. tried some older ones too. Card is hooked up correctly. I even did a clean install to make sure killer wifi was removed.

So I basically can only connect to my 5ghz if I'm right in front of it.

Laptop with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 wireless LAN adapter is experiencing intermittent blue screens since upgrading from Windows 10 1607 to 1709.  The actual bug check codes vary;  it's a mix of c2, 1C6, A, 7E, 50, 139.  The errors mostly occur when machine is undocked connecting wirelessly to the LAN.

Suspecting the wifi drivers to be an issue, we enabled driver verifier with the setting "NDIS/WIFI" and scanning all the Intel drivers.  Analysis of the dmp files points to the netwtw.06sys driver.   Observation is similar to thread:  BSOD with netwtw06.sys when switching AP.  Machine appears to blue screen when switching between wireless access points.  Any insight into what specific action/command could be triggering this?  Note:  the latest version of the driver is installed.  Version 20.70.3.3.  Thanks.

Intel Wireless-AC 9260 netwtw08 driver crashes with large upload traffic

I'm running into an issue where a large amount of upload traffic causes the netwtw08 driver for the wireless card to crash and restart. On my system, it's easily reproducible by copying a large file to a SMB share on the local network. The driver usually crashes after around 10GB of data transferred.

I've included the environment/hardware information and error messages from the event log below. I've also attached the report from Intel System Support Utility as well as the report from the "netsh wlan show wlanreport" command.

Environment:

  • Laptop: Dell XPS 9560
  • OS: Freshly installed Windows 10 1803 (Build 17134.112)
  • BIOS: 1.11.0
  • Wireless card: Intel Wireless-AC 9260
  • Wireless driver and version: Netwtw08.sys version 20.80.0.5
  • Wireless APs: 2x Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-HD running firmware 3.9.54.9373

Intel AC 9560 code 10 - tried every solution

Good day,

I bought an Asus ROG GL503 last June 10, 2018. The device was running smoothly until last 2 nights ago. I seriously tried everything after browsing related threads here. I uninstalled/reinstalled the driver, I tried to reset everything, reset bios by pressing f9 "load optimized settings" in startup. I really don't know what to do right now. Anyone have a different solution that would help me in my frustrating situation?

Thanks a lot.

EDIT: I noticed this issue happened when I connected my PS4 controller (dual shock 4) to my laptop via bluetooth, after playing some Tekken 7. I noticed my wireless adapter is not working and having the code 10 error.

Slow download speed 2,4 ghz, Intel wireless-ac 9462

Yesterday  i started a brand new laptop computer with an Intel wireless-ac 9462 adapter.

I noticed that the download speed on 2,4 ghz is very low (less than 1 mbit/s), upload speed around 3 mbit/s. Only nearby the router (less than 2 meter) download speed gets a little better, max 6 mbit/s. Connection is fragile, regular disconnecting and reconnecting occurs.

With a different laptop and iphone on the same 2,4 ghz network at the same place download speed is about 19 mbit/s, upload around 3 mbit/s.

These speeds are normal for my network. Also tested the laptops and iphone on a different network comming from a different router, same problem.

5 ghz seems to be working fine/better. Download speed at this network on the 9462 adapter is around 19 mbit/s, upload around 3 mbit/s. This is the same as on the laptop and iphone i am comparing.

I have, after experiencing this problem, used several different by intel recommended settings for the adapter. This has not made a difference.

Next i have updated windows 10. This did not make a difference. Then i have updated the driver of the 9462 adapter, this didn't make a difference.

I have also checked all relevant settings on the two different routers i use, none of these changes made a difference.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Dual Band AC 3165 - poor speed only on this laptop

I have a host of devices connected wireless that run download speeds between 65-100 mbps. However, this laptop cannot break beyond 21. I've made sure all updates were appropriately made and followed a few only trouble shooters to look for items bogging this pc down or device manager/network adapter modifications. Nothing is working. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 keeps losing connection to routers on 5 GHz band

Hi,

I have an Intel Nuc Windows 10 64-bit computer with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 adapter (driver version 20.70.0.5, newest at the time of asking).

Every now and then the computer loses the connection to my 5 GHz wireless network. It happens most frequently when re-starting or waking up from hibernation, but it may happen at any time. After the connection has been lost the wireless network can't be found in the list of available networks. The 2.4 GHz network can still be found though. One, or a few restarts solves the issue temporarily.

I have tried with two different routers and have the same problem regardless. No other computers or devices on the network has these problems. This incluldes other Windows 10 64-bit computers.

Thankful for help.
