We recently refreshed over 1000 computers with HP 725 G3 with the Intel AC 7265 wireless adapter running Win7..
The originally deployed driver was 18.40 which had issues staying connected to some consumer grade routers. After some testing, it was found that version 19.1 resolved the connectivity issues at home and was rolled out to the entire fleet. However, now we have AP roaming issues in an office where over 900 of these are deployed. The office has Cisco WLC 5520 and Cisco 3802 APs. We did some testing and it was found that rolling back to 18.32 resolves the roaming issue.
We would consider rolling back to 18.32 but rolling back the driver will clear all corporate PSKs and the employee's personal ones. We also tried version 19.10 and the AP roaming issue persisted.
