I have a Thinkpad Yoga (20CD), upgraded to Windows 10, with Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260. My wireless was working fine until a few days ago when, after some updates were installed, my Yoga was unable to connect to the internet and no wireless options were available to me. My Yoga could not find any wireless devices and the Network section in Device Manager disappeared. When I viewed hidden objects in Device Manager, the Network section appeared, but the properties for my wireless card said it was not connected. I restored my system to its state prior to the updates and my wireless card was back and I was able to connect to the internet. The updates that were deleted in the restore were Intel drivers (bluetooth, display, media, system and MEDIA), Intel programs (Wireless Bluetooth, Driver Update Utility, Processor Graphics), a Windows security update and Google Chrome. An update for Microsoft Office 2013 also caused the same issue to occur. Has anybody encountered this issue (updates to drivers and programs causing the wireless device to disappear) and resolved it?
