Intel Centrino wireless N-2230 card works with WIN 8 x64 Intel driver versions: 15.5.x and 15.10.3.2 - all other versions including latest Intel drivers fail in both win 8, 8.1 and Win 10 x64

Using an HP ENVY m6-1158CA

For sure I thought that my wireless card was failing but seeing that I am now using Intel driver 15.10.3.2 for Intel Centrino Wireless N-2230 - it seems to work on WIN 8 x64.

I tried the latest Intel drivers and I have to keep resetting the adapter!

So, I would like to inform Intel - take a look at how Intel Driver 15.10.3.2 was written and incorporate the desired code into the latest driver release and please be sure to test this card with Windows 10.

In Windows 10 x64, I kept having to reset the wireless adapter every few minutes.

I am sending my laptop to HP to have this wireless card replaced but if they give me the same card, I am pretty sure that I can expect the same problems - UNLESS the card is physically failing and that's why the latest drivers will not work. But... I am beginning to doubt that. The hardware diagnostic on the WLAN module PASSED.

That does not mean however that every circuit in that card is being tested. It is a general functionality test so it could have very well slipped through the cracks.

Anyone care to comment on this?
